Available Shifts:

Job Purpose: This position assists the Maintenance Safety Manager with vendors and contract mechanics, and maintains all company equipment including tractors, trailers, forklifts, etc. The position reports to the shift supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, including managing difficult situations.
• Professional verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and be on-call for emergencies.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Effective communication, problem resolution, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, and Appliance repairs: 2 years each.
• Electric pallet jack (EPJ) experience is required.
• Sit-down forklift experience is required.
• Cherry picker (high lift)/scissor lift experience is preferred.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials, and communicate effectively with managers, clients, and customers.
