Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking a Maintenance Lead to direct the Maintenance Department in ensuring safety, OEM quality and operational excellence. The role operates on a Sat-Tues 4p-4a or Wed-Sat 4p-4a schedule with a $44.95/hr wage.

You will lead, coordinate, and document activities across shifts and manage equipment, 5S standards and PMs. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED with technical training, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college or training in a technical field
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lead the Department by carrying Department objectives pertaining to scheduled work, PM’s and projects.
• Provide a high level of communication to Maintenance Manager as well as to other Managers and Supervisors.
• Oversee projects including contractor interface.
• Maintain Shop and Parts Room and all Maintenance Department areas to 5S standards.
• Management of equipment documentation.
• Oversight and leadership of troubleshooting.
• Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations contributing to overall safety of the Plant.

MAINTENANCE LEAD:

What you need to succeed:

• Be able to perform all duties of Industrial Maintenance Electro-Mechanic Tech ‘A’.
• Be able to perform most duties of SR Electrical Tech.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
