Full-time Shift(s): MON FRI SAT SUN 7:00am - 5:30pm

OVERVIEW:

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Maintenance Lead, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department. You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of duties related to the maintenance and repair of our facilities, equipment and fixtures in production. You will respond to general verbal or written requests to perform duties within and outside the building with little or no supervision. You will provide guidance to ensure operations are completed correctly, efficiently and on time. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Leading and training team members

o Communicating with employees and branches

o Performing preventative maintenance on conveyors, motors and gears

o Responding to verbal or written requests in regards to repairs or maintenance on production equipment

o Troubleshooting malfunctions to hydraulic and electric machinery

o Maintain the cleanliness/organization of work area

o Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations

o Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives

o Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed

o Proficient written and oral communication skills

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills

o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented

o Willingness to be frequently bending/reaching/stooping as well as constantly walking/standing/climbing

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Prior experience tracking work orders or service requests
