Job summary

Vier Management, LLC is seeking a go-to maintenance person for our Florence, KY communities. You will handle repairs, set daily work orders for the team, train newer technicians and collaborate with the Director of Maintenance and property manager.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with after-hours on-call rotations. Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus health insurance and paid time off. Rent discount available for residents in our communities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of apartment or rental property maintenance.
• Experience leading or training other technicians preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• EPA 608 certification preferred.
• Friendly, professional and good with residents.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and your own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete and oversee repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and other building systems.
• Assign daily work orders and keep the team on schedule.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians and set the example for quality and teamwork.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC and boiler systems and keep them safe and running efficiently.
• Complete make readies and renovations to company standards and on time.
• Respond to after hours emergencies as part of the on call rotation.
• Inspect the property regularly and fix problems before they become work orders.
• Keep the grounds, common areas and shop clean and organized.
• Track parts and inventory and keep records of repairs and inspections.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for specialty work.
• Help the Director of Maintenance with preventive maintenance, budgets and company projects.
• Follow all safety rules to protect residents and the team.

Be the go to maintenance person for our Florence, Kentucky communities. You will handle repairs yourself, set the daily work order plan for the team, train newer technicians and keep the property looking its best. You will work closely with our Director of Maintenance and the property manager.

Schedule
