SURGE Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to support our Bryan manufacturing operation, focusing on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, including injection molding systems. You will lead technical problem-solving efforts, read schematics, and mentor maintenance and production teams while minimizing downtime and ensuring safety.

• Proven experience repairing plastic injection molding and automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of 480V motor controls, AC drives, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience using machine shop tools, welding equipment, and fabrication tools.

Maintenance Lead

Location: Bryan, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; occasional nights and weekends as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical expertise, hands-on injection molding experience, and the ability to lead technical problem-solving efforts while minimizing equipment downtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines, automation systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support occasional off-shift needs.
