Job description

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Haynes Development is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician with drive, passion, and energy to change people’s lives! This position is based at Quarry Walk, a highly regarded property featuring both residential and commercial spaces.

Position Overview

Responsible for maintaining a 162-unit luxury apartment complex and approximately 300,000 square feet of commercial space within a vibrant, mixed-use community. The assistant facilities manager reports directly to the Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all maintenance programs related to the interior and exterior of the property
  • Respond promptly to general maintenance requests from tenants
  • Support building repairs, cleaning, and upkeep as directed by the Facilities Manager
  • Ensure accurate completion of site-specific documentation and reports
  • Familiarize with tenant management contracts and vendor agreements to provide effective assistance
  • Collaborate with the Facilities and Property Managers to ensure tenant satisfaction
  • Participate in on-call duties and occasional weekend work
Required Skills
  • Basic carpentry skills
  • Proficiency with hand tools for maintenance tasks

  • Ability to assess issues and recommend corrective actions
