Job summary

Simon Pearce is seeking a Maintenance Laborer at our Windsor, VT facility. This entry-level role focuses on basic maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with training provided. You will work with heavy machinery, operate a forklift, and help keep a safe, clean workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance with support from other members of the maintenance team (e.g. changing filters, drain cleaning, shoveling, etc.)
• Operate a forklift and material handling equipment on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; support snow removal and seasonal landscaping
• Regular inspections of hoist and forklift to ensure safe operating conditions

This is an entry level physical job that includes the responsibility of working with heavy machinery (hoist, crane, mixer, crusher) and operating a forklift. Maintaining a clean, safe and functional work environment is critical in this role.
