Job summary

Design Solutions and Integration in Carlsbad, NM, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install VFDs and 120/240V and 480V electrical equipment in the Permian Basin oil fields. You will configure and wire AC/DC controllers, use schematics, bend and fill conduit to code, and perform outdoor installations as part of an employee‑owned team.

This role requires safety focus, physical stamina, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Maintain a valid driver’s license.

• EOE and drug free workplace.
• Texas apprentice license.
• 3 years of experience in oil and gas.

Responsibilities

This position is in Carlsbad NM working in the Permian Basin oil fields installing VFDs and other 120/240v and 480v electrical equipment.

We are looking for self-motivated, assertive, dependable individuals.

As a Journeyman Electrician with DSI you will be working for a leading electrical-integration firm in the United States. You could be configuring and wiring various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs. Using electrical schematics, you will design, bend and fill conduit to proper code specifications. You will be working outdoors.

Requirements

Schedule

• 5 days on, 2 days off, with on call rotation every 3rd week

$35 - $42 an hour
