Job summary

ACS Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Janitorial Technician to support day-to-day facility cleanliness, upkeep, and minor repairs under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, exterior upkeep, waste removal, timely response to cleaning requests, maintaining rooms and supplies, and complying with safety standards; prior manufacturing janitorial experience preferred.

Job Summary: The Maintenance Janitorial Technician is responsible for cleaning, maintaining and repairing the day-to-day operations of the facility under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities/Duties: Maintenance Janitorial

• Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
• Order and pick up janitorial supplies when needed
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrates good listening skills
• Obey the safety standards of ACS and follow local, state, and federal regulations
• Will perform duties in a moral and ethical manner
• Responsible for any other tasks that may arise

Work Environmental & Physical Demand:

• May stand for long periods of up to 12 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. repetitively, as well as frequent twisting and bending, to meet fast paced work demands
• Work in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights and extreme temperatures. May work inside or outside to complete work assignments. Position requires exposure to dust and dirt.
• Follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools and equipment.
• Must have a minimum of 1-year experience as a janitor (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Knowledge of general janitorial processes and methods
• Must pass a drug screen and background check for employment
