Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology in North Tonawanda, NY is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a sanitary and neat operation of our facility. You will follow a daily cleaning schedule and handle restrooms, floors, handrails, vestibules, and stairwells.

The role requires basic education, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and good teamwork. You may operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment as needed to support plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school education.
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Manual dexterity and strength/stamina to perform tasks.
• Must be able to communicate and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain daily cleaning schedule
• Cleaning of restrooms, Handrails, Floors, Vestibules and Stairwells
• Must be able to sweep, scrub and mop floors as necessary.
• Collect and dispose of facility refuse.
• Replace/stock cleaning supplies for restrooms and storage area.
• Must be able to safely operate a tow motor, floor sweeper and floor scrubber.
• Maintains outside grounds.
• May be called on to perform various duties as required by supervisors.

Pay $18.00- $20.00 per hour (DOE)
