Responsibilities

  • Generates receivers for all incoming parts and verifies quality at time of delivery.
  • Receives in stock and keeps parts room organized.
  • Pairs work orders with the correct part(s) in preparation for the assigned mechanic to retrieve and complete the work order.
  • Performs cycle counts each week in the parts room to verify accuracy of inventory.
  • Counts material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies in stock and inputs data into system.
  • Monitors various expenses spent on each piece of equipment.
  • Assists with the maintaining and managing of the Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure accurate and detailed information is stored and retrievable.
  • Updates and maintains the vendor list.
  • Understands and applies company safety policies, GMPs, and any other applicable regulations and programs.
  • Performs other responsibilities as determined by business needs.

Job description

General Purpose:

Performs all record keeping for inventory control of parts room, tools, machine components and expenses used by maintenance personnel. Provides day-to-day miscellaneous administrative and component purchasing support to maintenance as needed.
