Arcosa Marine is searching for a Safety Oriented Maintenance Inventory Specialist in our Ashland City, TN barge manufacturing plant.

Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is part of Arcosa’s Inland Barge Group, and is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

As a Maintenance Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for the research and documentation, on purchase request sheets, and all maintenance tools and parts. You will be required to properly store and take inventory of these items as well as input them into the Upkeep CMS for utilization on Upkeep Work Orders.

What you will do:

• Coordinate with the Maintenance analyst/Maintenance supervisor to ensure that parts and tools needed are ordered/on order.
• Update the Works Orders in the Upkeep CMS with parts status to ensure the maintenance supervisor, team lead, and technicians know the status of the parts. (ESD, on hand).
• Ensure the parts database in Upkeep CMS is up to date with parts being utilized for work orders.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance analyst/Maintenance supervisor to develop the MRO purchase request for parts/tools needed to conduct Work Orders/PMs.
• Ensure parts database is up to date in Upkeep.
• Ensure parts for Work Orders are tracked.

• Familiarity with industrial spare parts, inventory management, industrial maintenance and maintenance scheduling.
