Job summary

NEW Cooperative, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Interns to assist with equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, welding, fabrication, and machinery setup at one or more locations across Iowa.

You will gain hands-on experience while supporting safe, daily maintenance tasks and learning from seasoned technicians. You do not need prior maintenance experience, but a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in industrial technology, agriculture, welding, manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering.
• No prior maintenance experience required, but willingness to learn and safety commitment is essential.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upkeep.
• Participate in welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Support maintenance operations and learning safe maintenance practices.
