Job summary

Hirebridge seeks a Maintenance Inspector to inspect, monitor, and assess the condition of mechanical equipment and plant infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. You will identify defects, coordinate corrective actions, and support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment such as crushers, feeders, conveyors, mills, kilns, and rotating hardware; conducting routine inspections for wear, leaks, and misalignment;

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and industrial maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with vibration monitoring, alignment, lubrication, and basic NDT methods is advantageous.
• Good reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cement plant equipment such as crushers, feeders, conveyors, belts, mills, kilns, coolers, and rotating equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormal conditions, wear, cracks, leaks, vibration, overheating, corrosion, and other defects.
• Monitor equipment condition and recommend corrective maintenance.
• Prepare inspection reports, defect reports, and maintenance recommendations.
• Follow up on identified defects until corrective action is completed.
• Maintain inspection records and equipment history in CMMS or maintenance-management systems.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Inspect cement plant equipment such as:
  • Crushers and feeders
  • Conveyors and belt systems
  • Raw mills and cement mills
  • Kilns, coolers, and rotary equipment
  • Fans, blowers, pumps, and compressors
  • Gearboxes, bearings, couplings, and drives
  • Bucket elevators andmaterial-handling equipment
• Conduct routine inspectionsand identify abnormalconditions, wear, cracks, leaks, vibration, overheating, corrosion, and other defects.
• Monitor equipment conditionand recommend correctivemaintenance.
• Perform visual anddimensional inspectionsof mechanical components.
• Check alignment, lubrication, bearings, seals, belts, chains, and rotatingequipment.
• Assist with preventiveand predictive maintenanceprograms.
• Prepare inspection reports, defect reports, andmaintenance recommendations.
• Follow up onidentified defects untilcorrective action iscompleted.
• Work with maintenanceengineers, technicians,andoperations personnel toresolve equipment problems.
• Ensure maintenance activitiescomply with plantsafety procedures andapplicable standards.
• Participate in shutdown/turnaround inspections andmajor maintenance projects.
• Maintain inspection recordsand equipment historyin CMMS ormaintenance-managementsystems.
• Support root-causeanalysis of recurringequipment failures.
• Ensure properhousekeeping and safeworking conditions ininspection areas.

About You

We Require:

• Diploma or bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical Engineering,Mechanical Maintenance,or a relatedfield.
• Experience in cementplants, heavy industry, mining, steel, powerplants, or similarprocess industries ispreferred.
• Knowledge of mechanicalequipment and industrialmaintenance practices.
• Ability to readmechanical drawings andequipment manuals.
• Knowledge of preventiveand predictive maintenancetechniques.
• Familiarity with vibrationmonitoring, alignment,lubrication, and basicNDT methods isadvantageous.
• Good reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding ofindustrialsafety procedures
