Job summary

ADM is seeking a Maintenance Training Grade II in Quincy, IL. Responsibilities include performing preventive and reactive maintenance across the facility, operating a range of tools, and ensuring safety and quality in production.

The role requires physical work, ability to read schematics, and willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Background checks are standard, with a competitive hourly pay of $30.65.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions with PPE.
  • Ability to work in elevated areas.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English (verbal/written).
  • Overtime availability including holidays, nights, weekends, or differential shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on facility equipment.
  • Operate standard maintenance tools (power, hand, electric, precision).
  • Maintain and service plant equipment: fabrication, gearbox, bearing, lubrication, pumps, piping, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Modify/build/install equipment from schematics/blueprints/manuals.
  • Ensure product safety and quality.
  • Operate equipment across the facility (tractors, loaders, forklifts, etc.).
  • Maintain SOPs and related documentation.
  • Understand plant equipment and process flow.

Maintenance Training Grade II

Location: 2100 Gardner Expressway, Quincy, IL 62301

Shift: 12hr Rotate Schedule

Pay: $30.65/hour

Job Duties
  • Complete preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on equipment throughout the facility

  • Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance tools, etc.

  • Utilize maintenance trades and components such as fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Modify/build/install equipment based on reading and comprehending schematics, blueprints, or operating manuals

  • Ensure product safety and quality

  • Operate equipment throughout the facility which may include tractors with front loaders, skid-steers, manlifts, forklifts, UTVs, etc.

  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and documentation

  • Knowledge of plant equipment and process flow

Requirements
  • 18 years or older

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Ability to work in elevated areas

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or differential shifts
