Job summary

National DCP, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Dunkin restaurant distribution operations in McDonough, GA. This full-time role involves maintaining equipment, ensuring safe and clean warehouse conditions, and providing support across departments.

The position offers competitive hourly pay of $20.58/hr plus full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with match. Weekend and holiday schedules may be required as part of shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate shrink-wrap equipment and forklifts.
• Requires basic computer skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain picking areas and ensure aisles are clear for movement.
• Keep floors clean and free of debris to support safe operations.
• Operate equipment safely including forklift, pallet jack, floor scrubber, and related tools.
• Follow safety rules and NDCP procedures; report hazards to supervisor.
• Assist in warehouse housekeeping and cross-train for other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the selecting isles are aligned, and product is brought forward.
• Ensure that the floor is kept clear of any debris that would hinder the selecting process.
• Clean out company trailers; remove empty pallets/crates and organize for pickup.
• Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned.
• Safely operate all equipment utilized to perform tasks associated with role.
• Safe operation of Fork truck, clamp truck, Floor scrubber, battery changing station & rideon/walk behind pallet jack.
• Maintain Company standards for safety, attendance, and conduct.
• Maintain proper and safe lifting techniques.
• Perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment.
• Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Cleans up any spills or breakages to inventoried product; recoup damages and determines ifresalable or must be disposed of per government and NDCP food safety requirements.
• Prepares various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, spillages, productdamage, etc. May track and order maintenance supplies.
• Provide equipment for the selecting process, i.e., cardboard separators and pallets.
• Power wash trash receptacles, general cleaning duties include but are not limited tosweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pick- up and use of compactor, may be required to workwith cleaning chemicals.
• Assist in the orderly maintenance & general housekeeping of the warehouse. May performsimilar duties in office areas as assigned.
• Use a headset to find individual items within the warehouse
• Attend all required Company meetings.
• Follow NDCP’s Good Distribution Practices.
• Cross train in other functions and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a shrink-wrap machine and manually shrink-wrap a product
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, pallet jack, high lift)
• Ability to work flexible days and hours. Schedule may include weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience
• Desire and ability to work in a collaborative work environment
• 1 year of warehouse or maintenance experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain certification in the Crown certificate program
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow simple instructions
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Demands

• Climate: Ability to work in various temperature-controlled areas (Freezer -10 degrees), Cooler – 34 degrees) and Dry (ambient temps)
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
