Front Porch is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for Pilgrim Tower-AH in Los Angeles. The role covers maintenance, operation, and safety, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor carpentry.
The position involves inspecting equipment, repairing components, and responding to work orders across residential units and common areas. On-call duties may apply; housing on-site is possible depending on community needs.
Maintenance 1 - Full Time/Days
Pay Range: $23.18 - $28.00
Summary:
The Maintenance Technician I helps ensure the effective overall maintenance, operation and safety of the facility, including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, painting, minor carpentry and equipment repairs.
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing by performing the following duties.

High school education preferred but not required. Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, work orders, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be willing and able to work on-call to respond to maintenance and resident emergencies. Position may require the employee to live on site. (This should be determined by each community’s special staffing circumstances.)
