Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Maintenance I – C to support manufacturing through routine and repetitive tasks during non-downtime periods. You will perform planned maintenance, assemble fixtures, and assist in installation and relocation of equipment.

The role emphasizes problem solving, nimble learning, and personal accountability while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Completion of the Standard Timing Model mechanical assessment.
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-planned corrective and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
  • Assemble and verify applicable fixtures and tooling.
  • Assist in the installation, modification, and relocation of equipment.
  • Develop and expand skills and knowledge by learning from and working with more experienced maintenance team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
