Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Maintenance/Janitorial Staff II to keep our facilities safe, sanitary and welcoming for patients and staff. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, disinfecting, exterior grounds work, minor repairs, and monitoring safety systems in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Starting wage is $21.30 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays. Commitment to safety, reliability, and ability to perform physical labor is essential;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Maintenance or janitorial experience preferred (training provided).
• Annual TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of floors, bathrooms, offices, and common areas
• Disinfect surfaces and properly dispose of biohazard and general waste
• Maintain yard and exterior areas (mowing, trimming, debris and snow removal)
• Perform minor repairs (plumbing, painting, carpentry, lighting)
• Monitor building safety systems (smoke alarms, lighting, ventilation)
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Follow all safety and health guidelines

Skills
