Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Hourly) to support reliability, performance, and safety of our production equipment. You will construct, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and respond quickly to equipment issues during production shifts.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience; ability to read drawings and schematics; basic math skills; and willingness to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components

• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments accurately
• Interpret equipment drawings to properly adjust, maintain, or repair machinery
• Respond promptly to production requests when mechanical issues arise
• Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose and resolve mechanical problems
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, managing both time and resources effectively
