Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Organize and clean the shop, parts room, and yard around the outside of the shop.
  2. Restock the Service PM Truck with oil, filters, and coolant.
  3. Clean and pressure wash equipment prior to repairs.
  4. Maintain shop equipment and tools.
  5. Pickup/deliver parts as needed.
  6. Pickup/deliver vehicles to outside vendors for repairs as needed.
  7. Communicate directly with the shop manager daily.
  8. Assist mechanics with repairs.
  9. Perform small repairs on trucks and equipment.
  10. Perform various other tasks as directed.
  11. Willing to learn how to operate a small forklift safely (training provided).

Hours: 2:30 pm - 12:00 am, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. Shift differential of $3.00.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Extensive on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude for safe and productive work.
  • Knowledge of safe operation of trucks and light motor-driven equipment is a plus.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work well with others, including team members and customers.
