The General Maintenance I role is a crucial position in the Maintenance department. Responsibilities include performing all necessary maintenance projects on-site while maintaining records and inventory.

Job Responsibilities

• Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled and maintains records
• Responds to emergency repair/maintenance situations as required
• Maintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running; manages tools used
• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Some driving required using personal vehicle between sites; mileage reimbursed when exceeding normal commute
• Skills in HVAC troubleshooting, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance

Physical Demands

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.

Education

Relevant educational qualifications are required or preferred, depending on the specific role requirements.
