Genesiscareers in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our long-term care facilities. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, make minor repairs, and ensure safe, compliant environments for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include servicing handrails, HVAC filters, electrical and plumbing tasks, and taking on supervisory duties in the supervisor's absence. Weekend on-call may be required; 8:30am-5:00pm with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting and fire safety equipment.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in their absence.
