Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our facilities in Millville, NJ. You will perform routine repairs, assist in supervising maintenance tasks, and help keep patient areas safe and accessible.

Responsibilities include inspecting HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and handling equipment, while collaborating with a team to ensure reliable operations. A high school diploma and basic trade skills are required; we offer competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.
