Performs maintenance and repairs on the diesel trucks, warehouse equipment, hydraulic balers, powered equipment, and general maintenance of forklifts, trailers, golf carts, and trucks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Completes general mechanical repairs
• Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned including but not limited to painting, rack identification, equipment assembly, and installations.
• Responsible for coordinating the facility maintenance program to ensure all maintenance is completed routinely using provided software.
• Completes small welding tasks and fabrication projects.
• Completes vital research for non-standard maintenance & repairs requiring the purchase of materials and/or employment by outside contractors or vendors.
• Monitors progress of outside contractors to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
• Maintain an accurate log and inventory of Univar Solutions tools and assets.
• Align with all company policies, rules, and guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations.
• Adequate tools for basic mechanic tasks.
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training.
• Ability to drive truck- Class A or B license a plus.
