Job Description:
  • Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department responsibilities, ensuring instructions are communicated and executed correctly.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and assets while ensuring safety and policy compliance.
  • Lead and guide team members in monitoring and adjusting production equipment to meet Tyson standards.
  • Respond to maintenance calls to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and coach team members on workmanship and repair quality.
  • Initiate inspections and record maintenance activities.
  • Promote teamwork and balanced workload distribution.
  • Maintain high standards of performance, safety, and integrity.
  • Lead safety meetings and ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year maintenance experience within the past 2 years (must be listed in application).
  • Knowledge of electricity, power, transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and shop tools.
  • Ability to work with others and adhere to safety culture.
  • Previous Tyson employment may require a 180-day waiting period before reapplication.
