This position offers competitive pay, day-one benefits, and a skill-based pay progression that allows you to increase your wage as you develop and demonstrate additional maintenance skills. **Schedule:** 2nd Shift**Pay:** Competitive wages based on experience, skills, and maintenance proficiency ### Why Join Tyson?* Benefits begin on Day 1* Competitive pay with advancement opportunities* Skill-based progression program with opportunities to increase pay as you master new skills* Extensive hands-on training and development* Opportunity to support the startup of a new facility and gain broad maintenance experience* Career growth with one of the nation's leading food companies ### What You'll Do* Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment, facility systems, and company assets* Diagnose and repair mechanical malfunctions with minimal supervision* Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs* Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations* Complete preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules* Document repairs, maintenance activities, and corrective actions* Ensure compliance with all Tyson safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, and other safety programs* Assist fellow maintenance team members as needed* Start up and shut down equipment safely and efficiently* Complete required maintenance records, reports, and paperwork* Perform other duties as assigned ### **Unique Startup Opportunity****As part of launching this new facility, team members will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience through a variety of maintenance, renovation, installation, and operational support projects before production begins.****This may include training and development assignments at nearby Tyson locations to build skills, learn equipment, and prepare for a successful facility startup.
