Responsibilities

• Issues tools, equipment, and other items to workers and maintains records of issued items.
• Requisitions stock/items to replenish inventory.
• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment and locates lost or misplaced items.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
• Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment.
• Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
• Assists other Maintenance personnel as required.
• Supports and participates in Morgan Olson’s PPS team efforts.
• Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations and supporting continuous improvement.
• Adheres to Safety policies and practices.

Job Description:

Orders, receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, materials, janitorial supplies, equipment, PPE, and other items needed for daily production requirements.

Essential Functions and Activities:

Physical Requirements/Hazards:

A job requires standing, stooping or bending, lifting, reaching,twistingand turning. Lifting will involve tools and supplies weighing anywhere from several pounds to50pounds. PPE: Steel toed safety shoes, Safety glasses with side shieldsare alwaysrequired. Other PPE such as hearing protection, gloves, safety goggles, dust/fume masks,etc.may be required depending upon the task at hand.
