Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a maintenance technician to operate central HVAC and mechanical systems according to corporate procedures. You will repair and maintain kitchen equipment, laundry machines, ice machines and refrigeration, boilers and plumbing, and troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic issues as they arise.

Additionally, perform ongoing preventive and predictive maintenance to keep facilities running safely and efficiently, with focus on cost-effective repairs

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair experience with HVAC and kitchen equipment.
• Experience with boilers, plumbing, electrical and gas distribution systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate central HVAC and mechanical equipment following procedures.
• Repair and maintain food production and related kitchen equipment, laundry, ice machines, refrigeration systems, boilers and plumbing.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems and repair quickly and economically.

Job description

• Efficiently and safely operate central HVAC equipment and mechanical equipment using sound engineering practices and specified corporate operating procedures.
• Accurately and efficiently repair and maintain food production and related kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, ice machines and refrigeration systems, boilers and plumbing systems and all electrical and natural gas distribution systems.
• Trouble-shoot electrical and pneumatic problems and repair them as quickly and economically as possible.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on an on-going basis.
• The hourly rate for this position ranges from $17.50-$19.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
