Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues across our communities. You will maintain interior and exterior spaces, respond to service tickets promptly, and communicate clearly with residents and staff about repairs and updates.

A valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle are required, with the ability to live within a 30-minute commute to the property.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Able to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.

As a Maintenance Technician At Morgan Properties, You Will

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

• Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We’ll Expect From You

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
