Job summary

Pipemakers is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our Deer Park manufacturing team. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs and fault-finding on production equipment to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will maintain tooling records, support continuous improvement and uphold safety standards while collaborating with production and maintenance colleagues on a day-to-day basis. This role runs Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Fitter trade qualification with 3–5 years in maintenance fittings.
• Must communicate effectively and build relationships.
• Safety-focused mindset with a proactive approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with maintenance documentation and computer systems.
• Current Forklift Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs and fault-finding on manufacturing equipment
• Inspect machine performance and identify quality or mechanical issues during production
• Maintain tooling, ensure correct storage, cleanliness and accurate tooling records
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime
• Order maintenance parts and update tooling records as required
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and equipment performance
• Maintain a safe workplace by following site procedures, PPE requirements and health and safety practices
