Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, facilities, construction, or handyman work.
• Mechanically inclined with practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with HVAC and air-conditioning systems is a plus.
• Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance are important.

Responsibilities

• Work between Tustin Mazda, Tustin Kia, and Tustin Hyundai within the Tustin Auto Center.
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout dealership facilities.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Inspect HVAC systems and identify service or repair needs.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of service and facility areas to maintain standards.
• Ensure service areas are clean, organized, and safe on a daily basis.
• Identify maintenance needs and coordinate with vendors when needed.

Position Summary: Patterson Auto Group is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Technician to support dealership facilities within the Tustin Auto Center. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional or skilled handyman looking for consistent Monday-Friday work, competitive pay, benefits, and a stable workplace.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work between Tustin Mazda, Tustin Kia, and Tustin Hyundai within the Tustin Auto Center.
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout dealership facilities.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to help ensure it is operating properly and safely.
• Perform routine inspections of air-conditioning and HVAC systems and identify potential service or repair needs.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of service departments and other facility areas.
• Help ensure service departments are clean, organized, safe, and presentable on a daily basis.
• Identify maintenance needs and complete general handyman projects as appropriate.
• Monitor facility-related safety and compliance items and help ensure concerns are addressed promptly.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and avoid larger facility issues.
• Identify repairs that require a specialized vendor or contractor and communicate those needs to management.

Ideal Candidate

• General maintenance, facilities, construction, mechanical, or handyman experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with HVAC and air-conditioning systems is a plus.
• Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, workplace safety, and compliance.
• Takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, functional, and operating smoothly.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, five-day workweek.
• Monday through Friday schedule.
