We are hiring for experienced professionals to join our team on a direct, full-time basis! In particular, we are seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Technician to be based out of our warehouse facility in Trotwood, OH.

This person will be expected to ensure that our equipment runs efficiently, support equipment troubleshooting initiatives, inspect equipment (and perform minor repairs, if needed), actively participate in plantwide Kaizen activities, and perform other facilities and maintenance-related tasks (as requested by management).

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Perform Predictive / Preventative Maintenance all equipment.
  • Oversee contractors (when professional repairs are needed).
  • Support all equipment troubleshooting initiatives (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic).
  • Troubleshoot & repair equipment and systems (Overhead Conveyor, Unloading Conveyor, Palletizer, Lift Assists, etc.); this involves water leak testing, fixing broken manufacturing tools, etc.
  • Support up-keep of inventory for equipment repairs, as well as organizing and management of the tool room.
  • In coordination with Engineering Manager, visualize and implement new Preventative Maintenance plan(s), when needed.
  • Support work related to facilities upkeep (e.g.: repair work, changing lights / fixtures and electrical components, etc.)
  • Support training of team members on equipment (i.e.: Forklifts, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, etc.).
  • Support current and ongoing Kaizen initiatives (e.g.: cell layout, tool fabrication, etc.).
  • Perform other maintenance and facilities-related duties, as requested by management.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • 2 years of professional experience working with facilities maintenance and/or industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Advanced understanding of electro-mechanical industrial equipment (e.g.: Overhead Conveyor, Unloading Conveyor, Palletizer, Lift Assists, Forklifts, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, etc.).
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills; expertise working with Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic systems is a plus!
  • Proven ability to decipher Engineering drawings & blueprints.
  • Proven ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
  • Proven ability to follow and adhere to all safety protocols / guidelines for work environments and assigned tasks.
  • First Aid Certification / Experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter demeanor with the willingness to learn as well as the ability to work alone / unsupervised.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
