Job summary

Los Alamos Wellness & Rehabilitation seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the environmental services and maintenance team in a healthcare setting. You will ensure sanitary, safe, and orderly operations, managing budgets and coordinating with clinical staff.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, accurate record-keeping, and compliant work practices to maintain a high standard of facility function and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a commercial or healthcare setting.
• Experience with laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• HVAC knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services staff and daily work to optimize service levels, manage budgets, staffing, and resolve interdepartmental issues.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs and records to maximize facility function.
• Maintains complete documentation of maintenance activities, replacement parts, and fuel supply records.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs per applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinates with residents, nurses, physicians and staff to address environmental services requests and improve service delivery.
