Maintenance Engineering Technician I- 3rd shift

Role Overview

Installs, maintains, and repairs packaging machinery, equipment, structures, and systems. Diagnoses mechanical issues, repairs machinery, and modifies production equipment according to engineering instructions. Ensures safety and good manufacturing practices are followed.

Responsibilities
  1. Inspect and test machinery using electrical and electronic equipment.
  2. Recommend preventive maintenance routines.
  3. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions; develop repair plans.
  4. Dismantle and repair machines, install parts, and fabricate components.
  5. Maintain piping, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including gauges and valves.
  6. Design, implement, and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
  7. Set up test procedures, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
  8. Install, modify, and upgrade equipment and processes.
  9. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on projects.
  10. Calibrate instruments and serve as a resource for complex issues.
  11. Follow safety procedures, including hazardous waste management.
  12. Train and supervise Maintenance Mechanics.
  13. Operate and repair automated machinery, including robots and programmable controllers.
  14. Perform welding, fabrication, and repair of structures and parts.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; 5-8 years of maintenance or manufacturing engineering experience.

Additional Details
