Qualifications

Are you looking for an opportunity to maintain the accuracy of vendor data into GSK's systems? If so, this is the role for you.

As Maintenance Engineering Tech II, you will provide maintenance required to support value stream production equipment by performing troubleshooting and repairs to meet line/area production requirements. Provide support to the maintenance and shift coordinators through prioritization and coordination of planned and unplanned daily maintenance activities. Participate and lead in the coordination of required root cause analysis (RCA's) for equipment problems. Participate in daily value stream area performance management line walk-throughs with area management team as directed by the maintenance supervisor. Coordinate shift preventative maintenance orders with area maintenance planner to include communications of required activities at the daily area performance management meetings. Support the continuous improvement process by participating in analysis of failure rate and downtime during weekly maintenance review meetings with the maintenance supervisor. Support the maintenance supervisor in the capabilities development of all ET's supporting the value stream.

Shift Details:

  • B-Shift 6:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Sun, Mon, Tue)

  • D-Shift 6:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Wed, Thu, Fri)

This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career, including:

  • Responding to daily production equipment failures through troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Encouraging safety behavior during shift handovers with EHS updates/concerns.
  • Supporting maintenance activities as instructed.
  • Coordinating with the maintenance planner to execute area PMs on time, focusing on zero Y3's.
  • Maintaining high standards of 5S in all areas.
  • Participating in weekly maintenance data reviews and continuous improvement projects.
  • Participating in RCA's for area performance management.
  • Adhering to Zebulon Safety Procedures, cGMPs, and regulatory scrutiny.
  • Supporting zero accidents, defects, and waste initiatives.
  • Assisting equipment engineering with installation, commissioning, FATs, and validation testing.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 6+ years of industrial automation experience including instrumentation and controls.
  • 1+ years working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AAS Degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of P&ID, instrumentation, and electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Experience in FDA regulated environments and knowledge of cGMPs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
