Job summary

Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Supervisor to oversee the hotel’s maintenance department, ensuring safe, efficient operation of systems and equipment. You will lead a team of engineers, manage preventative maintenance schedules, and respond quickly to guest or operational issues.

Maintenance Engineer Supervisor

As the Maintenance Engineer Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s maintenance department, ensuring all systems and equipment are operating safely and efficiently. You’ll lead a team of engineers, manage preventative maintenance schedules, and respond quickly to guest or operational issues. Your role is key to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the key to our hotel's efficient operations, managing and leading our engineering and maintenance team.
• Your daily tasks will include supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• You will report to the Chief Engineer.
• Starting as an engineering supervisor can lead to a variety of opportunities within the hospitality industry, such as chief engineer, facilities manager, or even a regional engineering director.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• A high school diploma, a GED, or one year of hotel experience
• Previous experience in a similar or related position
• A combination of education and experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
