Job summary

HVMG's Orlando Marriott Lake Mary is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Supervisor to oversee the hotel's maintenance team and daily operations, ensuring all systems and equipment run safely and efficiently for guests and staff.

You will lead maintenance staff, coordinate repairs and upgrades, implement preventative maintenance schedules, and report to the Chief Engineer. Hotel experience is a plus; bilingual Spanish helps. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED, or one year of hotel experience.
• Previous experience in a similar or related position.
• A combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Maintenance Engineer Supervisor

As the Maintenance Engineer Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s maintenance department, ensuring all systems and equipment are operating safely and efficiently. You’ll lead a team of engineers, manage preventative maintenance schedules, and respond quickly to guest or operational issues. Your role is key to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the key to our hotel's efficient operations, managing and leading our engineering and maintenance team.
• Your daily tasks will include supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs and upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• You will report to the Chief Engineer.
• Starting as an engineering supervisor can lead to a variety of opportunities within the hospitality industry, such as chief engineer, facilities manager, or even a regional engineering director.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• A high school diploma, a GED, or one year of hotel experience
• Previous experience in a similar or related position
• A combination of education and experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
