Job summary

SIGAN AMERICA, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Illinois to lead maintenance operations for liquid filling and packaging lines. You will oversee preventive maintenance programs, manage a team of technicians, and coordinate with contractors to meet reliability goals.

Responsibilities include designing procedures, tracking metrics, budgeting, and ensuring safety standards are upheld across the plant. Strong PLC/servo knowledge and hands-on experience are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance manager in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PLC and servo systems, plus electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical principles.
• Hands-on experience with liquid filling equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to implement maintenance best practices and standardized processes.

• Lead all maintenance operations: installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and reliability initiatives.
• Design and roll out maintenance procedures; train teams and verify adherence.
• Perform routine facility and equipment inspections to find and fix issues early.
• Set repair schedules, evaluate cost and time estimates, and ensure quality completion.
• Maintain accurate daily records: progress reports, maintenance logs, and metrics.
• Oversee spares and consumables; place timely orders to prevent stockouts.
• Manage the PM program end-to-end and pursue continuous improvement in reliability and effectiveness.
• Lead a safety culture - teach safe equipment operation and enforce policies without compromise.
• Own expense tracking; manage budgets and prepare annual funding requests.
• Build productive relationships with contractors and service providers.

What you bring to the table
