Job summary
Atlas Roofing Corporation seeks a Maintenance Engineering Manager in Franklin, OH to lead equipment reliability, safety, and capital projects across the plant. You will oversee environmental compliance, coordinate with contractors, and drive continuous improvement in process and equipment performance.
The role requires a mechanical or manufacturing engineering background with PE licensure and 3+ years in manufacturing, preferably in paper-related operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Minimum three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous paper manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee environmental compliance for all permitted equipment.
- Develop, estimate, and implement capital projects; manage budgets, schedules and commissioning.
- Lead capital improvement projects from scope to completion within budget.
- Coordinate safety devices inspections and ensure code compliance.
- Lead plant departments and coordinate with contractors to meet timelines.
- Communicate effectively with all organizational levels; travel to customers, vendors, and Atlas facilities.
