Job summary

Schreiber Foods is offering a paid Engineering Internship at our Stephenville, TX plant. You will work closely with engineers in a real food manufacturing setting, contributing to projects that improve reliability and operations.

The program covers executive speakers, networking events, and professional development, with relocation assistance for eligible interns. Candidates must be enrolled in an Engineering BS program and available for Summer 2026 for 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Sophomore level or higher toward a BS degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program.
• Must be enrolled as a student during the internship (recent grads not eligible).
• Willingness to relocate for Summer 2026 and commit to 10 weeks of 40 hours/week.

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of pay: $22.00

This position is at our Stephenville, TX plant.

Our Engineering Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a food manufacturing environment. Interns will work closely with skilled engineers, contributing to projects that have a direct impact on our operations and success. We offer internship opportunities in various areas of engineering, allowing you to specialize based on your interests and career aspirations.

Interns will also participate in our company Internship Program which includes Executive Speakers, Social & Networking Events and Career Branding & Professional Development.

What you’ll do:

Reliability Engineering:

• Participate in helping implement strategies to enhance the reliability and lifespan of equipment and systems.
• Interpret failure data and coordinate initiatives to reduce downtime.
• Work with maintenance teams to create predictive maintenance schedules.

What you need to succeed:

• Completed Sophomore‑level status or higher toward a BS degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program (Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, Chemical, Engineering Physics or Manufacturing preferred). Students must be enrolled as student during the time of the internship (Recent or previous graduates will not be considered).
• Willingness to relocate for Summer of 2026.
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 weeks during the Summer of 2026.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week during the summer.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in pursuing a full‑time career in the areas listed above.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them on time and accurately.
• Desire to grow and take on new opportunities.
• Reliable transportation.
