Schreiber Foods is seeking motivated engineering students to join our Summer 2027 internship across U.S. manufacturing plants, including Missouri (Carthage, Clinton). This paid program offers hands-on experience in engineering, with an hourly rate of $22.

Interns commit to about 10 weeks at 40 hours per week and may relocate if needed. You’ll work with skilled engineers on controls projects, participate in our Internship Program with Executive Speakers, networking events and career branding, and

• Currently enrolled as a student toward a BS degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical preferred).
• Sophomore level or higher; must be enrolled as a student during the internship.
• Willingness to relocate for Summer 2027.
• Available for at least 10 weeks and 40 hours per week.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interested in pursuing a full-time engineering career.

We have opportunities in the following communities: Missouri (Carthage, Clinton), Utah (Logan), Texas (Stephenville), Wisconsin (Richland Center).

What you’ll do

Controls Engineering

• Engage in the design, programming and testing of automated controls systems.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs and robotics to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate on projects involving system integration and optimization.

What you need to succeed

• Completed Sophomore-level status or higher toward a BS degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program (Electrical is preferred). Students must be enrolled as student during the time of the internship (Recent or previous graduates will not be considered).
• Willingness to relocate for Summer of 2027.
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 weeks during the Summer of 2027.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week during the summer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in pursuing a full-time career in the areas listed above.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them on time and accurately.
• Desire to grow and take on new opportunities.
• Reliable transportation.
