Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a Maintenance Engineer to lead technical efforts ensuring reliable facilities and systems across its network. You will design preventive programs, perform root cause analyses, and drive repair strategies while managing budgets and compliance.

Qualifications

Three years of maintenance-related work experience with progressive responsibility.
One year of work experience in the core level of the job family or
Any combination of experience or education that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties.

Responsibilities

Design and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Conduct root cause analyses and develop repair strategies.
Oversee projects, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and improve efficiency.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical/electrical equipment (boilers, generators, HVAC).
Perform building maintenance tasks (carpentry, painting, plumbing).
Complete and maintain accurate records and logs.
Test and evaluate equipment prior to service.
