Job summary
Amneal is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to own maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment for oral solid dosage forms and transdermal systems. You will lead preventive programs, diagnose complex failures, and ensure documentation aligns with GMP standards.
Responsibilities include coordinating IQ/OQ/PQ activities, supporting CAPA/RCA, and collaborating with QA, EHS, and production teams to sustain high uptime and safety in a fast-paced facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field.
- 3+ years in Engineering, Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation failures.
- Lead maintenance and repair of tablet presses, coaters, mixers, dryers, slitters, packaging machines, and utilities.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment history in GMP-compliant systems.
- Lead or assist in IQ/OQ/PQ activities with validation teams.
- Support RCA and CAPA related to equipment failures.
