Job summary

Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach in Conway, SC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to help keep resort facilities in top condition. This part-time, on-site role requires a proactive problem-solver with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance and repairs, preventive maintenance, responding to guest and team requests, keeping records, and coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
• At least two years of maintenance or engineering experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• This is a part-time position at Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach in Conway, SC. Flexible availability is required, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Maintenance Engineer helps maintain the resort's buildings, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Troubleshoot and maintain pool systems, kitchen equipment, and other resort equipment.
