Job summary

United Plant Services is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to service, diagnose and repair a range of small plant and ground care equipment across customer sites. You will work independently, maintain records, and uphold high safety standards.

The role offers a 40-hour week with overtime paid at 1.5x Mon-Sat and 2x on Sundays, plus a company vehicle and ongoing training and development opportunities. A relevant engineering qualification and field service experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment to service efficiently.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and servicing activities.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries professionally.
  • Accurately recording all work electronically and ensuring required parts are ordered promptly.
  • Maintaining company vehicle to a high standard and ensuring stock levels are adequate.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through reliable and professional service.
  • Working in compliance with all customer, company, and health & safety procedures.

Maintenance Engineer - Mobile

The Opportunity

As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping customer equipment operating safely and efficiently. Working independently across customer sites, you will service, maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.
