Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering teams at Hotel Citrine, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and AC Hotel Palo Alto.

You’ll perform day-to-day maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and more, respond to guest requests, and help keep both properties running smoothly in Silicon Valley. This hands-on role rewards reliability, safety, and teamwork in a high-end hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of building systems: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience in hotel or facility maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and access tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and repairs.
• Respond to guest service and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend system life.
• Support safe operation of fire alarms, exits, sprinklers, life safety systems.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments on maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal exterior upkeep as needed.
