Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent education required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on maintenance experience in hotel/resort or similar.
• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance logs.
• Safety regulations and PPE knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, including repairs, painting, and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment, diagnosing issues by listening to unusual sounds and observing operations to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment to support uninterrupted food service operations.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests, ensuring high satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance logs documenting all activities and communicate with supervisors on repairs and safety issues.
