Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Bethesda seeks a Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering Team. You will carry a portable radio, stay in contact with the base station, respond to engineering service calls, and maintain hotel equipment in a safe, efficient manner.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and至少 6 months of similar experience. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and routine renovations within a hotel setting, with opportunities for growth through

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or courses in building maintenance recommended.
• At least 6 months in a similar maintenance role.
• Ability to repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and perform carpentry and renovation work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests and service calls in a courteous, safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment including HVAC, boiler, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Monitor operations during off hours and respond to emergencies; log inspections and parts used.
• Make rounds and inspect equipment; document maintenance and repair activities.
• Report safety hazards to leadership and maintain clean, safe work areas.
