Job summary
Legacy Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and building structures in our hotel and restaurant facilities in Atlanta. You will ensure safe operation, maintain a daily maintenance log, and coordinate with housekeeping to address guest and staff requests.
The role covers HVAC upkeep, Life Safety Systems, welding, pipe work, and quarterly preventive maintenance inspections in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Qualifications
- Experience installing and repairing machinery and building systems.
- HVAC maintenance and repairs experience.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance on life safety systems.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
- Ability to maintain preventive maintenance program and documentation.
- Ability to diagnose issues by listening for unusual sounds.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and structures.
- Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain and repair Life Safety Systems and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Perform welding and pipe work.
- Respond to maintenance requests from housekeeping and guests.
- Maintain daily maintenance log and documentation.
- Inspect safety equipment and emergency lighting.
- Quarterly inspections as part of preventive maintenance.
